Good Friday

I had a bad start checking DMV on the vehicle registration. Prior to the inquiry, hubby told me that he noticed my sticker already expired. I thought it's not expired. So all of this time, I was driving an expired sticker. Good thing cops didn't see it. Or else, it could be a ticket. Somehow, I went to DMV and paid the penalty for 60%. It's over 30 days. It's hard to think money just go to waste. If you want to think about it, you will feel bad. So, I just rather let it pass and it will be a lesson hard for me to keep.

In the afternoon, I went to St. Justin's Church. I stayed there for an hour. The church is full of people but not as crowded like in the PI. I almost felt like crying because I remembered the time I spent with my family gathered for Good Friday in the church and walked for the procession. Spending it here is very different.

Highway 1

I visited this place last year. It was just by accident that we found it. I had captured photos of this place but by accident I deleted it. I was devastated when I knew I couldn't retrieved it. So when I think about it I want to go again. My husband and I tried to look for it a few months ago but found no luck. Until just a few weeks ago, hubby told me a surprise. He said he found it. I was so happy. Last weekend, we droved there. It was a chilly afternoon. I was looking forward with a calm weather. But I failed my expectation. Still, it was a nice sunny day. I took several shots and I'm so happy I have photos for keep this time.

Tax prep is done

First time that me and hubby just let an accountant do our taxes. With much headache to the documents we have, it is much better we could hire a third person to do it for us. Not only just a person but someone who knows what they're doing. I had searched over it online. I found several accountants but found one that I felt could be better. I made an appointment few weeks ago just to have a brief discussion on what we have. We were requested with few documents. No hassle of back and forth, making corrections over this and that. I trust the work of a CPA. They are pretty much reliable. Or else, if not their license will be revoke. I know what the standpoint on that because I myself is an accounting graduate. I just didn't purse taking the board examination for I am not too confident on the knowledge I gained from mostly part time teachers. But if I could have the interests back then, I could probably be a CPA and do what I supposed to be doing. Anyhow, maybe one day.

Anyway, I hope things can get easy with our tax preparation from now on. Just decided to hire the accountant that we found and hoping to get our refund in full. I also would want to receive the rebate in 2007. I will cross fingers!
