Cutcrease

A cut crease is an eye makeup technique that emphasizes the eyelid crease by creating a sharp contrast between two eyeshadow colors. It involves carving out a distinct line along the crease, usually using a concealer or a lighter shade, to separate the lid's two areas: the mobile lid and the area just above it. This technique accentuates the eyes, making them appear more defined and prominent.

The process typically starts by applying a transition shade to the crease, followed by applying a deeper shade directly on the crease line to create depth. Then, a lighter shade or concealer is precisely placed on the mobile lid, sharply defining the crease line. This sharp division between the lid's sections gives a dramatic and bold look, ideal for special occasions or more striking makeup styles. Cut crease techniques vary in intensity, ranging from subtle, natural looks to more vivid and defined eye makeup designs.
