Be more Advanced @ Cisco

I am fascinated with information technology. Though I may not have the background and much knowledge as those people that I know who were working with big company like CISCO, it is not new to me how great this multi billionaire giant company is. Most of the people I know who were working there are an expert in their field. Oftentimes they discussed with what new products they provide and what upgrade to certain products. I got to know someone who been doing part time overseas using the technology in the Philippines. He works to maintain network traffic and troubleshooting with his company. But even before that he got some training first and used his Cisco certification. He applied a job and got hired immediately in a bank. The company sent him to Singapore to do some more advance training and thus give him knowledge. To get this certificate is marketable and anywhere in the world people know how the name CISCO is.

This IT guys are keen to knowledge. They always do some more training in the field. It’s commonly been a practice. The Cisco Learning network website offers a lot of discussion from product release, blog post, what’s the spotted technology, and even posted job vacancies for people who are in search for a job. It is a well thorough website. Right now they offer programs in different areas starting from associate, professional, expert and specialist level. Under each of this section the programs are listed below:

1. Associate- Design, routing and switching, security, voice, wireless

2. Professional- Design, routing and switching, security, voice, wireless

3. Expert- Design expert, routing and switching, security, service provider, storage networking wireless

4. Specialist- Advanced routing and switching, data center, foundation for channel partners, unified communications, security, Wireless Lan

To be hip in Technology, don’t ever miss the chance to enroll and get certified. The more level of knowledge you get, the more marketable you are.
