Philippines Passport Renewal for Minors

This is my first renewal for my son's Philippines Passport at SM Seaside Cebu. Every 5 years you need to renew it unless you don't need to go outside the country but for getting less headaches better to process it right away before requirements changed. I tell you the process in the country keep on changing depending what location and branch you are in.

The requirements:

Living outside the main branch per region will cost you either you fly in or ride a boat to the designated office. Minors can't walk in if age above 7 so need to have an appointment ahead of time, book and pay it online. There's no refund for no show.

1. Appointment document

2. Official receipt of payment - ₱1,400

Breakdown:

Fee - ₱1,200 TOPS site but no expedite

  mail Shipping Passport ₱150

  processing Fee ₱50

3. Child current Passport

4. Photo copy of the data page of the childs passport

5. PSA Marriage certificate for parent and copy

6. Mother's passport and data page copy

7. valid ID photocopy

Original PSA documents will only be checked during the presentation of requirements.

Child is Dual citizen born in America.

It took 10 business days after the date of process. Even though you are paying expedite fees, TOPs site does cost you more and you got to wait 2-3 weeks for the release of passports.
