Sexy Halloween Costumes

Few days from now it will be October. People then get crazy looking outfits for Halloween. For me, I usually buy it online and I guess the size of the clothes. Oftentimes I got children sizes and so far with the last 2 sexy Halloween costumes it fit. I got some compliments on them. Well it’s not overly exaggerated costumes but in some way it’s unique. I wanted to be different and not too usual or common to the masses. I did some research too. I don’t buy just because I want a costume but because I want something different.

This year I wanted to get a new sexy Halloween costumes. I am not too sure if there will be some invitations from friends. I haven’t heard any yet. But if in case I need to then for sure I will get one. I just hope it’s not a short notice invite. If it’s going to be then maybe it’s not my time to attend. I know one thing. I always make sure that I could see some spooky thing and displays from my neighborhood. It’s my tradition just to drive around, see kids with their outfits and have fun talking to them.

Recent Update

I have not been writing recently about my brother. I just have the intent not to since I felt too overwhelm of what has been happening to our family and the ordeal we are facing. To the point I intend to stay away from meeting and talking to friends. The issues with my family was too much to bare. To my last recall, I avoided the issue. I didn’t want to talk about it. But, since I feel a lot better now I could say a little something.

The last time I talked to mom, she said that my brother is starting to eat. The news makes me feel lighthearted. Though, I wish his progress could be faster than normal. But, what little progress he can do in his own way is much better for me to know. I rather want to hear some little progress rather than not knowing his been trying at all.

In the house my family do home care for him. It’s a tedious work. At the same time it’s too expensive to support his medical maintenance. We, the family are trying our best to support him as much as we can and we just hope that the support we give him will give him the motivation to give more effort to progress. We want him to feel much better and that he can do normal things on his own.

Thinking back the time I was there with him in the hospital, our room was full of people. The room was located just across the nursing station. Many student interns hang out in our room and it’s nice to get some help from them. Though at times I felt like complaining because the room was just full of them. Eventually it subsided and one by one their gone and here comes all the nurses wearing their uniform and scrubs to monitor my brother’s vital signs and condition.

At the back of my head, I questioned myself if I could be a nurse. Working and helping sick people. The thought of wearing those medical nursing scrubs which looks so nice to wear and being able to help people is a very dignified job. I wanted to be like them. But yet, there are things that I can’t do and I won’t be able to. First, I always get to attached to people easily. I am very sensitive. You have to have a tough skin to be able to perform your job well. I think it won’t be possible for me. I wish I could have the strength and passion to be one. I guess it's not for me.

It could have been better if I were a nurse. I could have been a great help to my brother. What I only hope now is for my family to continue to help my brother with all their strength and might to make him improve and give him his love unconditionally.

Walk in Wonderland-Past Remembrances

Guest post from: Denver Stephens

My husband and I prepare for the first snow of the season every year, boots, scarves, jackets and mittens, all set to don. Since retired, we have been lucky enough to be together and watch the gray skies though the picture window, sipping wine, until the first flakes fall. There is a wooded path nearby and we anxiously head out to walk its mile and half to the end where the busy road interrupts, and head back. By this time, the trees have been coated in their white cotton cloth, and the sounds of the forest on the east side are muffled in the new acoustics the covering affords. It's a solitude that can only be appreciated when two people who think much the same way share the beauty of nature wrapped once again in its unspotted winter coat. We look back now and again to see our footprints in the path behind, a symbol of the path we have shared through our lives. Our silence is usually broken by one of us mentioning that we need to hurry the last 100 yards or so not to miss the Satellite TV Deals show we planned to watch with our remaining Merlot.

Fashion Sense

Some people say I have the sense in fashion. Glad to hear a good compliment in that manner. But I tell you, I don't have the style in my own while growing up. It was the people around me who dressed me up. When I was younger, in school my mom would buy some dressy clothes far from what my other classmate wore. She got all that style too though she decently dressed. In our family, it's just me and my mom who thinks about clothes and shopping. My dad and my siblings are in the same gender so all of them goes together. It's just me and my mom who loves to go around the mall and checking some stuff.

Even growing up, I don't know what other people would wear and I don't care much on what style other people are wearing. All I care was I wear decent and clean. There's no fashion magazine I would buy to care and to look for. I had my mom who will do the style for me.

It was years of not knowing what fashion really means. Until, I had some female friends who were really updated with fashion. When I looked at them, they looked so glamorous. I asked them on how they've managed to spend when looking at their clothes I felt it was expensive. They taught me how to follow what the trends and play it with the own taste of style in low price amount. I begun to search how one store differs from the other and find items that were uniquely created.

I had my disaster moment and it's part of knowing how to improve yourself. Up to this day, there are days I would care less on my style as long as I feel comfortable. But I prefer to be really good when going out. If you will see me just some jeans, shirt and no make up, it will only mean that I just try to feel comfy without minding to be feeling beautiful. When I do feel like there's a need for me to be dressy, I will shop and find that suitable design.

You don't need to buy expensive branded names. All you need is some style and be comfortable. Some stores I frequently visited: Styles for Less, Wetseal, Forever21, Charlotte Russ, Papaya. They're cheap easy to wear and up to date.
