Memories on the 24th

La Fondue, Saratoga CA

I had a great time on Thursday. My day was filled with love and contentment. Early morning, hubby greeted me with a hug and said "Happy Anniversary". I asked him if we can exchange gifts he said we will save it early in the afternoon. So I came home with some happy thoughts.

He came after 5pm, we hugged and kissed. He went to the kitchen and did something. He then brought two glasses filled with white wine. He gave me one and we crossed tossed and drank. It was so sweet of him. I asked him if it’s time for the gift giving and he said "okay". He asked me to close my eyes while he got his gift. When he was done, I asked him to do the same.

He opened his gifts first. He was so happy to received with our both name stitched on his boxer, his initial J with the bath robe and pajama. While I did receive a silk red robe with a very sassy packaging and an orchid plant. Both of us did receive a well thought off cards too.

We end up our night with a fine elegant dining in La Fondue. The food was great. We ordered La Romantica on their combination menu. It includes appetizer, salad, Entree and Dessert. It was very nice evening with the restaurant. We had enjoyed our time together.

Commemoration of Cebu Wedding

This might sound odd but it's not for us. We spent our wedding anniversary twice. Infact, we were married twice in a Catholic Church for the loved of our family. Every year, we spend it in February and September. This year hubby and I were bought sick on the day of our actual date. We both agreed to moved it to a weekend. So last night, we went to Fog Harbor. This is our 2nd visit to this place. I remembered last year where my pasta was so delicious. I suggested to dine there again and we had a marvelous time with our food. We started the evening with our drinks, and crab cakes for appetizer. Hubby got his lobster tail and I got my prawn scampi. It was good. We enjoyed our dinner and right after we walked around the nearby shops.

Drained

I work today with a happy feeling but turned stress when I was alone joggling the calls. My boss and Liz were having serious discussion with Auto donation where they had a meeting with a tow company. They wanted to come up a better solution in dealing with the pick up service. I had heard Liz with positive attitude when she arrived from the meeting but my mind was so perplexed with the task. My day was tiring me and my boss let me go home early for that. At least they recognized how tiring that could be. It will be okay if I am just joggling appointments and schedules. If adding phone dispatching and donor on site. That's killing me. I went home and arrived at 4:10 tired. I relaxed a little bit and used my laptop again. I edited some photos and made a collage for our wedding anniversary to eased my tiring day. I am happy of the result. This is my 2nd collage for the year I believe. I haven't been doing any scrap booking for a very long time.

3rd Year Wedding Anniversary

I am all smile today. It's our 3rd year anniversary. I can't imagine how days run. It seems it's getting fast. I treasure all the memories that me and my husband did spend with our starting years and our upcoming years. We had traveled places, explore cuisines and getting more time to each other.

My day started with a bouquet of white roses where I received it from my job. It was coming from my hubby. I called him when I knew that it was from him. I said thank you for his thoughtfulness. I didn't expect he will going to send it to my job. My co-workers and even my boss were happy for me too. My boss told me to go home 20 minutes before my regular hours. He seemed very lenient on me. I am thankful to that. I called the restaurant for reservation and head home. I rushed cleaning the coffee table clearing up the clutter and put my beautiful bouquet. Hubby text me a several minutes after so I picked him up.

We reserved a seat at Wine Cellar in Los Gatos. Nice place and cozy. The menu is pricey but it's worthwhile to spend for our anniversary. Both of us had pasta. I didn't finish mine and so my hubby. We still got some room for dessert and we ordered 2 creme brulee. It was good. With the white wine running in my veins I felt so sleepy so we went home before 9pm.At this time we just finished opening our gifts and now relaxing. I received card, victoria secrets sleeping attire, diamond earrings and my early present coach purse. For my husband I give him card, Ipod, wallet, and accessories.

Dinner Cruise

I had a great surprise last night from hubby. He booked a dinner cruise in San Francisco. I had no clue at first as to where we it will be. I just follow his lead until he went inside Pier 3 and I saw the boat. I was glad about it. A new exciting experience to count. The boat departed at 7pm boarding CALIFORNIA HORNBLOWER. People were scattered the parking lot until the gate open. We walked to the boat. At the entrance, photographs were taken. I certainly liked that, a good way of getting a remembrance. We sat a window seat overlooking the splashing water from the boat and the scenery of city lights and other historical places like Alcatraz, Angel Island, Treasure Island and others. There were champagne bottle in our table, some wine memorabilia and our numbered seat. It’s an elegant evening dinner. We had a full course meal and it was so good. I was happy that hubby planned it. He is a man full of surprises and that’s what some of his qualities that I do love about him.

I was surprise Again!

I got home fast after work to prepare my clothes for tonight's dinner at San Francisco. I busied myself pressing my clothes and pressed the clothes for my work tomorrow too. I always have it ready everyday. I wish I have more space in my closet but I have no choice but to sacrifice for now until we can find a bigger space.

Past 6pm I watched the time passed by. Hubby told me expected to be home before 6:30pm. So I just open my laptop and check on my built-in camera. I was having a great time just making faces and saving it. 10mins after, I heard the door and hubby greeted me hello and he was carrying a bouquet of white roses. I was so happy when I see him and the gift he presented to me.

We droved to Pier 39, arrived exactly 7:30pm where hubby made a reservation at the "Fog House restaurant". It is cozy, lights to see over the harbor and it is romantic setting. I held his hand and said thank you. He answered me a warmth of a welcome and I asked for a kiss. It was nice dinner, we had started with a clam chowder soup, crab cake for appetizer, lobster tail for hubby and I had prawn brochette. We matched it with my hubby's chardonnay and I had my sunset mimosa. We had no room for dessert so we skipped it for the night. Before we paid our bills, hubby told he got a surprise and handed me a box. It was a princess cut small size earrings. He is so full of surprises.
