My Cousin's Wedding

Even I am with a heart of worries while I was in the philippines, I managed to take a little time to relax a few hours of my time to participate in a simple wedding. The event put me to a place of excitement and fun. It was a good relief to at least forget the moment of despair and just be happy at that moment.

The thing it made a difference to me was I tried to shoot her wedding to the last minute while I was seating down next to the middle aisle where the point of service or procession is set. The music had started and I decided to quickly grab my camera with not knowing what my camera setting was and just shoot whatever I can. It was tough. I don't have a zoom lens and all I had was the 35mm and the 85mm. Now I can feel how the photographers work in a wedding if they are amateur it could be difficult to manage the light setting of the environment, changing of lens but if they have the proper equipment it could be no problem. As for me that day, I was like oh no my shot was not the best light setting at all. I was in a panic mood because I wanted to make it good but it failed me. But for experience purposes, it was good for me. I had it in a cousin wedding where the bride and groom knows me and I can just shoot whatever I want.

Amazing Outdoor Wedding

Guest post written by my buddy Troy Moon

My friend Katie has always wanted to get married next to a lake, in late October... and she finally got her wish. This year, Katie and her fiancee Nate were married next to a little lake in northeastern Ohio with the full colors of Autumn on display around them. Since I was a member of her wedding party, my boyfriend and I were going to be out of town for more than one night. We fed the cats, set the security alarm from http://www.ALLHOMESECURITY.com at our condo, and headed out. The drive to the hotel near Katie and Nate's wedding location was gorgeous - trees and wildlife everywhere. We had almost as great a time just driving to the wedding as we did attending.

The ceremony itself was gorgeous and extremely tasteful. Though partially cloudy for most of the morning, the sun came out for about an hour - just long enough to say the vows and take a few photos. My boyfriend and I decided that if and when we decide to get married, an outdoor location similar to Katie and Nate's will be one of the choices we consider. I was really excited that I was able to be a part of a day that they'll both remember.

A Guy Friendly Way to Plan a Wedding

Authored by Raymond Whitney

While my girlfriend was ecstatic to say "yes" to being my wife, planning our wedding was another story. Unlike traditional girls, she would rather I plan the majority of the wedding or at least half of it. Having seen my sisters and cousins get out of hand when it came to planning a wedding I was determined to make it easier by taking shortcuts.

After thinking about it I knew the easiest way and most guy friendly way to plan our wedding was to just take advantage of going online with my hughesnet internet and doing most of the work on there. While most were skeptical that it could be easier I was able to prove them wrong. I found that in one afternoon I was able to find more than five great wedding venue choices for my fiance and I to choose from as well as the chance to get great discounts on our honeymoon.

In addition to being able to compare and book our wedding venue and honeymoon, I was able to do real research on local wedding photographers and see what other customers had to say about them. I was glad I did my research because the photographer I was originally going to go with had horrible reviews. All in all, planning our wedding online using high speed internet orrs island saved me not only money but time as well.

Time to Shop

July is coming very near. I will attend my husband's niece Alicia for her wedding this July 4th. Amazing how she booked her date right on the very day of Independence? She’s a smart girl. She wants all of us to have the time so we can come to her wedding. This is already planned 2 years ago while Joe and I were preparing for our wedding. We made a promised to her that we will attend whatever date she wished to set for her own. I met Scott her fiancé and both of them were at my bridal party. They're a good couple.

So today, hubby and I will find something to wear for the wedding. I know it's a bit early but who knows we might not get what we wanted today. It is better to shop early than to cram when the date is near. We will try to go to Palo Alto at Stand Ford Mall. It is a pricy little shopping mall. There’s one shop there that I am very interested to visit. I hope it is still there. I wanted to buy a dress that is simple, elegant and affordable. I can only wear dressy clothes at most times once so it is not very practical to buy the most lavish and pricy. It is not worth it. I know one thing, it is not on how much would it cost you to buy it but on how good it looks on you. I hope I can find it today just one stop.
