I did a photoshoot of Noreen and her 11 days old baby last week. It was not a perfect pictorial but the photos turned out pretty well. Every photo sessions is a learning experience and I come across difficulty but able to manage. I hope one day I could have a better and more accurate light set up.

Make a video

I have been creating videos as a hobby. It’s been awhile that I have not been doing that. There are some thoughts in mind that I need to make one for the year 2009 which for some reason I haven’t done yet. It’s one of my goals these days that I could create one for the year and eventually I could also make one for the year 2010. I have been doing this collection all by myself and I feel good when I see the finish output. I miss doing it. When I can finally get the chance I will make one.

A few days ago I was looking for photos from my first wedding and I come across my video. I played it with my dvd player and I was thinking if I have the dvd ripper I could get some clips from the video and make my own wedding movie the way I want it. I tried it before just using my camera and the quality was terrible and I only made a small scene from the video. It will be nice to rip dvd and make my own. I am not using Mac computer but if I have a mac someday one of the things that I would like to get is the video converter mac and dvd ripper mac. These things are helpful in making one good project better and efficient.

Another Hobby

You may be a reader of mine and I think you know by now what my hobbies are. In particular, I do like taking photographs of people and events and well as doing videos. Recently, the latter has been a failure. I have not been doing anything about it since it requires time and a plan. If I have a certain vision in mind, that creative work mood will be made. When a concept and imaginations are all well laid out, it could happen right away. This year I am not really putting so much about it. There are things that didn’t get me to be inspired.

To make a video, it would require so much of your time. Converting the original files to your computer is very time consuming. To make it readable you need a software or any device to make it work. I have been using a different video converter. I personally have not tried imtoo. Maybe that could be the fastest way to convert some of my video footage. It is so time constraining and I would like a new outlet to make something fast.

People who owns an Ipad or mac, here is an exciting news for you. You can get a video converter for mac at imtoo. They have many different video formats so it’s very easy to convert just anything. As well as they have the Ipad video converter too. This is even so great. I would suggest look this up and be glad as I am.

My friends

This is the video I made last year. I haven't posted it here yet because I got tired the last time when converting videos. Now I know what software to use for very easy and fast procedure, I would convert most of it and will post it later.

This video are the photos of my friends. They are a part of my life and will always be. I am so thankful of knowing them and would take care of this friendship.

Dying to Get

Speaking of hobbies..I don't have much. The only thing that really occupies my time is photography and making videos. But I don't have much leisure to do my readings and experiments. So right now I just let my camera stayed in it's bag and the progress is too very slow.

Somehow one day, when I can finally able to grasp everything it will be an achievement in my part. Don't have to brag about it but it's one of those things not all people has the time and passion to do it.

Because of this passion, I am thinking about things I would need more to complete it. It's not easy money though because these stuff are expensive. I will take one day at a time. I would buy when there's extra money.

In my lists:

1. Light meter - need this very badly. My photos aren't too great with exposure. I had so much time editing to Photoshop. Maybe this can be at hand this year. Who knows if Santa Clause would read this. LOL!

2. Sony hi-definition handycam - great for travel and any important occasion. I already have an old sony handycam which can really take good videos but it's not high definition. There's some issues on the noise and grains. Definitely hi-def is a way to go. I would want to get one, if the price would go down that I can comfortably afford.

3. Strobe lighting - this can be so good when I can finally able to get the light stand, umbrella and of course another Speed light flash which is way not too necessary right now. But it can be so nice when I dreamed about having my own studio. Just a dream.

4. Computer - would be good for extra use in editing projects. My laptop's memory is not capable on some of the software I bought. I need to get more space and storage.

5. Lens - a couple of them I would really want to have. Maybe now the TOKINA ultra wide angle. Just like I've mentioned, it's expensive so that's why I am holding it.

I may be not buying so many stuff like most of the girls are. Getting something like luxury branded shoes and purses. But my passion are way far beyond what majority of the girls wants. I just know how when to get it and needed it the most. For now, everything is on hold. It can wait.

2009 Xmas & Birthday Video

Hi all.. Here is the video I just made. It took me a couple of days to finish it. It was kind of difficult. I spent so many hours editing and importing files and videos. It was my very first to import my handycam's footage too. Quite got the excitement when I learned how to do it.

I am not a professional nor have the educational background in creating movies. This is just a new passion I have learned while I stayed here in the US. I might wanna go study Media arts. I want to learn more and create real good ones. As of now this is an amateur output product, using photoshop, adobe premiere, sound effects by free loop and my own's laptop sony vaio content exporter.

2008 Memorabilia - Part I

I have been thinking about it for 3 months now to make a compilation of photographs from June to December. There are still a lot of pictures I haven't included from the clip but I believe I got the message about how the months I spent with the love of my life and some friends. I am glad I finally finished it. I wanted to do more with the clip but I just ran our of energy to make it more different and nice. I hope you enjoy.

2008 Memorabilia - Part I

This video is the 2nd creation I made from the recent software I am using. I am playing with the transition, scaling, motion and made one picture that I was able to rotate. It took me a lot of time to finish this. I haven't made anything exceptional with this video but I am happy to know a little on how to make it seamless. I hope I can really make like a professional type montage. It is my project this year to finally able have the grasp of the techniques I want to portray on my work. I will cross my fingers on that.

Video Anniversary

The first video I made using motion and scaling with premiere pro cs3. I need to do more with this software. I am pretty new about it, which somehow didn't give me the finish product that I intend to make. For now, I am happy what I am seeing and will take more editing time until I can create what I really wanted to achieve.

Can't help it

Days past and I have been thrilled browsing photoshop tutorial online. There are a lot of tutorial online. I had tried reading and following even simultaneously doing it while reading it. The articles posted doesn't give me so much information because as a beginner to photoshop there are many terminology I wasn't aware of. The new software I am using right now has more than what I can imagine and it is overpowering. The look itself and the content, there are a lot to learn. Going forward without knowing the basic had caused me problems.

So today, I still did try to locate some reading materials online until my hubby told me just to research some basic books so I can just start with it and not be so confused all the time with my new toy. He called it as my new toy since he know that I love photo editing. It's just one of my passion and I love doing it. I am not good and just even started learning about it so there's a big room for self improvement if I will be diligently keep on going to study and apply it to building a website which is a very complex thing for a project.

Anyway, I had some few books that I saw online at Barnes & Nobles and so I went there with hubby. I had spent a little bit time there scanning some books that I like but just bought 1 book for photoshop and 1 for premiere. I hope this materials can help me get and achieve my goals.
