An Adventure in Aruba

This was a trip that I did with my hubby on July 2009. I just got the time this month to download all the clips and make it into one single file. The scenes are a bit blurry due to the fact that I am using a new technique time remapping which somehow loose it's quality. The raw clips that I took majority of them are not that pretty good as well. I forgot to check the settings on the handycam while I was on the trip. But I am happy enough I can barely look at the scenes now without much headache. Hope you like it.

This is the video I made last year. I haven't posted it here yet because I got tired the last time when converting videos. Now I know what software to use for very easy and fast procedure, I would convert most of it and will post it later.

This video are the photos of my friends. They are a part of my life and will always be. I am so thankful of knowing them and would take care of this friendship.

Dying to Get

Speaking of hobbies..I don't have much. The only thing that really occupies my time is photography and making videos. But I don't have much leisure to do my readings and experiments. So right now I just let my camera stayed in it's bag and the progress is too very slow.

Somehow one day, when I can finally able to grasp everything it will be an achievement in my part. Don't have to brag about it but it's one of those things not all people has the time and passion to do it.

Because of this passion, I am thinking about things I would need more to complete it. It's not easy money though because these stuff are expensive. I will take one day at a time. I would buy when there's extra money.

In my lists:

1. Light meter - need this very badly. My photos aren't too great with exposure. I had so much time editing to Photoshop. Maybe this can be at hand this year. Who knows if Santa Clause would read this. LOL!

2. Sony hi-definition handycam - great for travel and any important occasion. I already have an old sony handycam which can really take good videos but it's not high definition. There's some issues on the noise and grains. Definitely hi-def is a way to go. I would want to get one, if the price would go down that I can comfortably afford.

3. Strobe lighting - this can be so good when I can finally able to get the light stand, umbrella and of course another Speed light flash which is way not too necessary right now. But it can be so nice when I dreamed about having my own studio. Just a dream.

4. Computer - would be good for extra use in editing projects. My laptop's memory is not capable on some of the software I bought. I need to get more space and storage.

5. Lens - a couple of them I would really want to have. Maybe now the TOKINA ultra wide angle. Just like I've mentioned, it's expensive so that's why I am holding it.

I may be not buying so many stuff like most of the girls are. Getting something like luxury branded shoes and purses. But my passion are way far beyond what majority of the girls wants. I just know how when to get it and needed it the most. For now, everything is on hold. It can wait.

2009 Xmas & Birthday Video

Hi all.. Here is the video I just made. It took me a couple of days to finish it. It was kind of difficult. I spent so many hours editing and importing files and videos. It was my very first to import my handycam's footage too. Quite got the excitement when I learned how to do it.

I am not a professional nor have the educational background in creating movies. This is just a new passion I have learned while I stayed here in the US. I might wanna go study Media arts. I want to learn more and create real good ones. As of now this is an amateur output product, using photoshop, adobe premiere, sound effects by free loop and my own's laptop sony vaio content exporter.

July 4th Celebration

My first celebration as I could remember was hubby took me to Fisherman's wharf in San Francisco. We had dinner and when we walked away from the restaurant, the firework started. I had took some shots and video too. My 2nd celebration, we had dinner just nearby where we lived in Santa Clara and witnessed the fireworks at central park. We didn't able to make it on the park due to the traffic. So I just took some video footage while we were on the parking lot. Last yr was my 3rd, it wasn't held here in the bay area. But I was at a wedding and I just saw some fireworks while we were driving home in a highway. Still, the significance of seeing fireworks matter. It doesn't matter that time. I was happy at least I saw it from a distance.

This year, I was again at Pier 39, SFO. We dined at Pier market. The weather was kind of chilly. It's like winter. It was a weird weather there. You can't really predict how it will going to be not until you can feel you are freezing already. But I survived. The crowd this year was so amazing. Doubled what I had witnessed before. I assumed maybe because there were other areas for fireworks show were canceled. I guess people drove to those areas where some shows are on and SFO were just one of them.

Synchronize fireworks is nice. It fired on Pier 39 and Aquatic Park. For me, I wasn't so thrilled anymore about it. Maybe seeing a lot of fireworks especially at theme parks and Las Vegas was just so amazing for me. These small fireworks didn't give me any thrill anymore. But still, it's better seeing than not or else it could not be a complete celebration. I could have want to bond friends this year and yet it didn't happen. I will see if things next year can happen. I will just cross fingers on that.

Larry The Travel Guy

When you talk about travel, I would definitely tell you a lot of things. I love to travel different places. Travel is my passion. I had been to places where I had dreamed of. There are more places that I haven’t travel yet. If there is an opportunity where I could get travel for free, it will be an immediate positive response. I will be the number one person for the job. When I read about Larry the Travel Guy website, it fascinated me thinking about it. To be a travel blogger could be one of my possible dreams I want to achieve in the future. I had been writing my thoughts for the past years in places where I went. It was so interesting to write about what each country has to offer. I can always imagine in a place and write notes when get the chance.

Have you heard the acclaimed super Banzai video show? I guess most of you are. I used to watch it. I had a great time watching the shows. It really occupies my time. Sometimes when I am too bored the show really gives me a laugh. It will take my boring day away. It’s really fun. The cool thing now, you will not only see the video you can play it. New Video Site

I love making videos, creating something from out of an ordinary capture scene is a challenge for me. But my time at work and personal things at home, my passion has been neglected in some ways. So I just like to browse now at my spare time. I love to see people who themselves are very imaginative. I visited today Viddiction.com. There are so many videos that people uploaded. I come across my friend Felicity who uploaded her video entitled How To: Sketch/Draw A Nude Lady. I maybe a bias but one thing I am sure of that this lady who made that video is very talented. Not because she’s my friend but she really has some talent, intelligent, friendly and very helpful. The video she made is my favorite. I don’t have the talent to sketch, but every time I see people who got some skills I surely do appreciate them. Not many have that gift and in a ratio of 100 I would say there are only 10 of them.

Papaya Dance Craze

My attention was caught up when my husband saw the video from yahoo at abc News about the popular papaya dance craze in PI. It is now recognized worldwide like the "macarena" move. I had witnessed this steps when I visited in Cebu Philippines last January and had captured a video from my cutest little nephew Jecho. His 3 years old and imagine how he did it. Nobody's teaching him how, he just do it by himself and imitate what other kids are doing. A talented kid isn't it.

A Victory for Pacquiao

I attended baby Nathan's party at 2pm and Suzzy was asking to come and join the fun for Pacquiao's fight later. I was kind of undecided since Joey wasn't too sure about it. I know he loves to watch boxing and it's the only sports game he can barely to watch and interested. I asked him some couple of hours past until he told me that he will just gonna pick me up later when he left the party.

Ji-ann and Myrabel opened up the idea to come to Suzzy's place. I called Joey and told him about it and his no doubt agree and will just meet up at Suzzy's. So we went there, ate some good food, get stomach full, talk and laugh all our heart out and it was a good party for all of us. The fight started at 8pm and I was kind praying of only one thing. I wished that time that Pacquiao would not fell down at least. I don't care if he loose the fight as long as he will not fall down.

With those 12 rounds, I am too anxious, nervous and too excited. My husband at times would "hush" me. It meant to stop making noise. I couldn't help it. It was just making me excited. I was glad I had stayed for 12 rounds and happy he won.
