Places to check

What makes life exciting is when you filled it fun from here and there? You would go for a date to a concert, a game, a move house, a restaurant and just be romantic. What I miss about doing is to watch lots of several concerts. I have certain artists in mind and without me checking on their schedule I miss their shows big time. Someday I really have to check in every now and then so I would know which area they will have a show and which stadium will it be.

I also have not ever been in a sports game. There is an AT&T park in San Francisco that I have been looking to go to. There are so many chances of seeing the games there but I have not just so focus to check which team and what game are on. I hope one day that I will be able to attend and get that sports fanatic feeling.

There are just so many things to see in the areas that would be in line of your interest. If you want to check stadium there is Kauffman Stadium, Yankee Stadium, and other famous sites like Madison Square Garden and Staples Center. Check this site that I’ve mention because most of the local entertainment and sports industry are using this site very often.

Exciting Game

I watched the Superbowl game for the very first time. For the most part of the game, I keep on asking my partner how the mechanics of the game is. Hubby was helping me to understand it. I already came on the 2nd game when I turned on my TV and glad I was able to make it.

It was a good game. I have not choose a team and I was just watching how the players are doing. It's my learning curve. :) Next year I will watch it again.

The half time show performance of Black Eyed Peas was great. Others didn't like it but for me I enjoyed it. I wasn't able to watch Christina Aguilera's national anthem song but able to view it from yahoo and she was terrible. Too bad she was previously one of my favorites but her renditions of her song wasn't really working for me. Her singing was not that strong to compare the early years of her career. I hope she will learn from her mistake. To just sing clean and belt it.

To end this post, I enjoyed my time watching the superbowl. No wonder people are crazy with this game.

Skiing With My Girlfriends

Content by Mitch Osborne

Each year, my girlfriends and I get together for a fun girls weekend out. Now that we have all gotten married and are living scattered across the country, getting together is a bit harder, but we still manage to make it happen. My husband has made plans for him and the kids to go to his parents house for that weekend. He's leaving on Friday morning and I on Saturday. As I rarely go away like this, I will have to keep in mind to set my home security alarm from Security choice before going.

Skiing is something I have tried before, but cannot claim to be any good at it. I really like to go because of the bonding experience. I'm out of my comfort zone along with my friends who have no idea what they are doing either. It gives me some time to relax and forget about the problems of every day life. I also like challenges and learning how to ski has been one of my greatest challenges thus far in life. I am confident I will master skiing one day! I may even drag my husband along with me.

8th Victory for Pacquiao

I watched the fight last night. It was such a good fight. I salute Margarito's fighting spirit. His a good fighter. While I have more regards with Pacquiao's sportsmanship and able to show mercy til the end. Margarito's face was ferociously damage by a strong punches and it's so sad to look at his face. But he left a good remark with his fight. Such a tough and brave fighter. I like the way he showed his strength. On the other hand, Pacquiao is still the unbeatable fighter. I am proud to be one of his fellowmen. Good job Manny, we are very happy you carry our country's name so dearly.

My kamikaze drink while watching the fight. It helped me cool down my feelings over the fight.

Watching Calgary Flames Implode In High Definition

Thanks for the post, Bernard Vasquez

What is going on with the Calgary Flames? I love watching hockey in high definition on TV By Direct, but even the crispest picture can't provide any clarity to what is going wrong with this team. It's not like they don't have talent. They were projected, and still should be, somewhere in the upper portion of the Western Conference, if they could just play as well as they are capable of playing.

But these aren't just losses that the Flames are experiencing. These are complete collapses, unbelievable and catastrophic implosions on a scale rarely seen even from the worst teams. They were up 2-1 over the Washington Capitals at the end of the first period, only to give up 6 goals, yes, 6, in a loss. They've become a team that gives up goals by the handful, and seemingly with no way to stop the bleeding. They went from looking like a solid team to suddenly looking like they had no idea how to play hockey.

But I don't fault the players. I have a saying, if things are bad at the bottom in an organization, they are bad at the top. The issue, as I see it, is the horrible coaching decisions being made by Brent Sutter, who accepts none of the blame and continuously throws his own players under the bus. It's no wonder his team won't listen to him anymore.

Play tennis for the love of the game

Content by Sol Rosales

Everyone who has not tried tennis is missing out on a great time. It does take some special skill to play it, but, with a lot of practice comes great reward. It is a game that allows you to be outside and get some great exercise while having a ton of fun. It is easy to play once you get some of the swings of the racket down pat.

I love to play this game early in the morning. It is one of the best ways I can think of to wake up in the morning. Getting dressed and hitting the ball back and forth with my favorite tennis opponent, my friend Rick, is always a challenging and good time.

Rick can hit the ball like a rocket, so I have to be sharp every time I play. I do get to win, and that is only after a very tough battle. We like to play at the indoor courts at the city tennis center. It is a great way to play tennis out of the weather and in a warm controlled atmosphere.

But, before I even think about getting out on the tennis court, I make sure I set my Adt security alarm system to keep any intruders out of my home.

Watching Some Baseball

Guest post of the week by Roscoe Harris

I really love going to baseball games. It can be so much fun to be there watching your favorite team play. It honestly doesn't even matter who plays they are just fun to watch in person. I love the concession stand and all of the great food. You can't beat some good nachos or peanuts at a ball game. The kids love to wear a hat and hold up a flag or pointer finger yelling for the teams. It is just a fun experience overall honestly. Well this year, we just can't afford to go. It makes me sad that we can't take them. Instead I am going to try and make the experience for them at home as best as I can do that for the kids. We are making our own nachos and hot dogs. They are simple and should be fun. I bought them all pointer fingers last year at a game, so we dug those out for them to hold up. We are going to turn on our satellite tv from www.tvbydirect.com/directv-deal/ARIZONA-AZ-direct-tv.html and watch the game in our own living room. We will yell at the television and just have a fun time all together. I am excited about doing it this way. It won't be the same, but should still be a blast for them.

Myrtle Beach Golf Course

I am not a sports enthusiast and therefore it will just be a few areas in sports that I can watch or get interest to get involve. I had been in a golf course before when I attended a friend’s wedding in Bukidnon Philippines at a pineapple plantation. It was really a nice area. It was huge too. After the wedding, my friend took me to the golf area and they had me play. I got to listen to the basics and follow the instructions. It was a little tougher on my part since I felt like I don’t know what I was doing. It was just so funny to reminisce it.

Now I come to think about it. I try to search online as to what part of the country that has the best facility and area to play with it. I come across to this site http://www.myrtlebeachgolf.net. Browsing through the site, wow it’s amazing to see the reasonable prices and good amenities that they offer. I don’t know much with golf and I know for sure that those people who are into it would be surprised to see this website. I know a couple of friends that are very much into golf and I would definitely introduce them to this site.

Golf fanatics, this will be a good opportunity for you. Myrtle Beach Golf Courses offers a very a good deal. Please pay a visit to this astounding website. Their prices are just unbeatable. If you want to take a look at Myrtle beach golf packages you can see a big difference from any other places. Grab this wonderful opportunity. Bring your gear and play. But before any of that can happen, make your bookings right now.

Nike

When it comes to sports attire, my preference will be Nike. It’s the name brand I have no doubt about looking. Actually, it’s one of my favorite. My shopping experience in the mall will not be complete if I could not pop in to the store. That’s just how fanatic I am with the product. But, in today’s fast technology, my shopping can be so relaxing with the internet. If I have the need to get a new pair of shoes or shirts, I will just browse around with my laptop.

The particular site that I check at most times is Zappos. They promote a lot of name brands that it feels like shopping in the mall. It’s very fast too. You just have to type in the name of the brand you want. Like for example, if I check Nike I just go to the main page to the search engine. It’s very convenient. There is one item I certainly would like to have. The Free Trainer 7.0.3 that costs $80.10. It’s on sale too. I wish I could buy it now or maybe I would ask my husband to buy it for me. This site is just really nice. If you are interested like me in Nike’s, sneak in to Zappos.

A Victory for Pacquiao

I attended baby Nathan's party at 2pm and Suzzy was asking to come and join the fun for Pacquiao's fight later. I was kind of undecided since Joey wasn't too sure about it. I know he loves to watch boxing and it's the only sports game he can barely to watch and interested. I asked him some couple of hours past until he told me that he will just gonna pick me up later when he left the party.

Ji-ann and Myrabel opened up the idea to come to Suzzy's place. I called Joey and told him about it and his no doubt agree and will just meet up at Suzzy's. So we went there, ate some good food, get stomach full, talk and laugh all our heart out and it was a good party for all of us. The fight started at 8pm and I was kind praying of only one thing. I wished that time that Pacquiao would not fell down at least. I don't care if he loose the fight as long as he will not fall down.

With those 12 rounds, I am too anxious, nervous and too excited. My husband at times would "hush" me. It meant to stop making noise. I couldn't help it. It was just making me excited. I was glad I had stayed for 12 rounds and happy he won.

I took some video but my hands were shaking not because I am excited it's because it was cold and chilly. Just bare with my footage...

Ice Skating Show

Josie and I chat this past few days and she mentioned to me if I am interested to see an ice skating show. She talked to Joy first and both they wanted to go. She asked me if I want to see it and of course with no doubt I love the idea. This is an event from Stars on Ice. The main performer I wanted to see is Sashe Cohen. She's a beautiful young lady. I often see her on tv and to see her skate live would be a very wonderful thing. By Wednesday, I got a text from Josie that she did already purchased the tickets and will just pay her on the day of the show. That will be this Sunday at 6pm.

Not only that, to see the show with great people you love is the very coolest thing. I am happy to be with the people I care and who in return do care too. There are more other friends I have all over the country and other places. It could be more fun and more interesting if to see all of them in one time. But that could be no where possible.

I am excited now to see the show. The last time I saw ice skating was when I was in my freshmen or sophomore years in High school. I can't even remember the year. Memories fading but the good memory I had way before was very nice and I know again this time to see another great show will be wonderful and exciting.

Grand Prix, San Jose Ca

We heard it 2 weeks before we careless to get a ticket, until last Sunday we were rushed to look for one. There were no available ticket online so we only had the choice to purchase it at the nearest gate entrance. Parking with no fee was really hard to find for such a big event like that. We found one near the entrance and it cost us $20 dollars. Geez! We walked to the gate and paid more than a $100 for 2 another Geez again! lol....When we're at the site, the bucks you paid was not enough to witness the race. We got what we paid for. Before I only saw it through CNN or any sports channel, now seeing it with my two own eyes sports fan for sure will get so thrilled by experiencing. I'm not such a sport minded person but cars like that, it gave me a WOW experience. I sure did have fun. It was cool.
