♫ Music In My Mind ♫
The songs I was interested to play was Jar of hearts and Someone like you. I looked chords online and search youtube about tutorials on how to play it. I got the music sheets printed. I was excited to play until the reality sank in.
I started with Jar of Hearts. When I searched the artists Christina Perri, she posted on her blog the chords for the actual song and the one I printed was not the same. So I redo all the chords on the sheet. Man it was time consuming. Until the bridge, I had difficulty copying the actual melody. I kept on searching website from website who posted tutorial for the bridge. Non played the same. I tried to listen attentively if I can copy cat it but I can't. I was a little disappointed. I want to get that song played the same. I will keep on searching if I can find it.
For Someone like you, I didn't start at all. I was stocked with Jar of Hearts. If I finished the song, I will practice someone like you. Maybe I could take a video of me playing but I don't know, I am not an expert nor not that good. At least I can play a little. LOL!

Places to check
What makes life exciting is when you filled it fun from here and there? You would go for a date to a concert, a game, a move house, a restaurant and just be romantic. What I miss about doing is to watch lots of several concerts. I have certain artists in mind and without me checking on their schedule I miss their shows big time. Someday I really have to check in every now and then so I would know which area they will have a show and which stadium will it be.
I also have not ever been in a sports game. There is an AT&T park in San Francisco that I have been looking to go to. There are so many chances of seeing the games there but I have not just so focus to check which team and what game are on. I hope one day that I will be able to attend and get that sports fanatic feeling.
There are just so many things to see in the areas that would be in line of your interest. If you want to check stadium there is Kauffman Stadium, Yankee Stadium, and other famous sites like Madison Square Garden and Staples Center. Check this site that I’ve mention because most of the local entertainment and sports industry are using this site very often.

Music Lover
I am a music lover. A part of me would always cling to the music industry. I find solace listening to the different variety of sounds. I am born to love music. I don’t have that great talent in the field but I tried to learn something. I tried singing and playing the piano. I am no great in that area as well but I can make a tone and finish the song. I only do a variety of songs that can be played in the range to my capacity. I wish I was better and lived by it to do it professionally but it appears it’s not what I am good at. I don’t know yet what areas that I could be good at but I know there will be that passion that I can make good use someday.
Hubby did talk to me early today while we were in the car about he missed out to purchase a ticket at Oakland-Alameda county Coliseum. He love jazz and he heard an artist that will be playing this month in Oakland. He missed it. I feel bad about it. I hope one day I can surprise him with a ticket about what he loves listening to. There are other ticket outlets in the whole country. Depending on the area you live. Try this site like Staples Center, At&T Center, FedEx forum, and Target Center. These sites can all be found in Ticket America. Look into this, you might find some artists that you are waiting to listen to.

Music lovers should use Black Friday to their advantage!
Contributed by Raymundo Burgess
There are many different things that people enjoy doing on a daily basis. One thing I absolutely love to do is listening to music! It makes me feel happy, I lose weight from dancing, and it gives me a good feeling when I listen to it. Not only is this my favorite thing to do, I actually have learned to sing by doing this. However, Black Friday is the day of the year when I get very excited about music. The reason why is that many music stores here in Anchorage will cut their prices down by half or more, making a CD or DVD only a few dollars! Not only can I get many new music items I've never heard, I can buy my favorites that may have been more expensive before.
I simply set my home security alarm system from Securitychoice.com/ and set out to one of the many shopping centers with my fiancé. He loves music as well so we both have a grand time. Sometimes there are rude customers and clerks at the places I go to, but they aren't really too bad. Most people just get stressed because there are too many people around them. But the little bit of problems that causes are nothing compared to the lovely items that I can buy. I can find MP3 and CD players for cheap too. I love it!

Fun Experience @ Edna's Ichiban Library

It was 10 minutes before 8pm Saturday night that I came with my friends. In fact, it was just yesterday. I would like to tell you the experience I got with the club. It's a small joint with decent decor with touches of Asian taste. The lights are up to date not too elaborate but definitely fit the ambiance. The sound system were fine not too loud to explode anyone's earlobe except only singers who don't know how to control their voice. I was trying to really read what's the equipment's name that their using but I can't figure out from the distance and because it was dim too.
Our reservations was at 8:15pm entered the room and was suddenly bombarded by the comedian. I saw Ray Kilay, Kim and Doveron I believe I can't figure out the name. Anyway, we started our night with ordering some familiar filipino dishes of course. As you may know this is a place for Filipino who is looking for a good laugh and good food. I think it's the only place in the bay area that is more decent compared to Mr. Suave in San Jose. We waited for our table until our others friends arrived. 30 minutes later, our friends came and ordered food as well. Our friend Judith celebrated her birthday and she was recognized by the comedian and asked her to perform. She did go up on stage sang 2 songs with too much comedy jokes from them. Sometimes the jokes was over the top but she did take it lightly and was just having fum with them. I was thinking that time, oh my if I am going to sing with that kind joke would I do the same thing with Judie. Just laugh along and just be comfortable?
But I got my share of fear and the awkward jokes was thrown at me too when I was called to sing. I literally made a joke back because being on stage I am not really frightened about crowd. I had trembled really because I don't know how long will the comedian throw the jokes at me but it was just bearable jokes and I was thankful. In fact, I sang last minute 2 songs before the show ended. Good thing. I had people said good phrases on me and I humbly said thank you though as a singer could hear me I don't really perform that good. But as an amateur who never practised, it's a little good.
Back to the food, it was good and I like all we ordered. Friends were great though the bill is high as not expected. But sharing is the best. lol!

Santana Concert
The show started with Salvador Santana Band. They're just an okay band. They are from the LA and one their vocals lived here in the bay. So it was his interest to play and of course to be the opener for Santana. How big you can get to play with a big star right? I can just imagine how great to play on stage when you will introduce the star. I used to be in the band before. I know how it feels when you will be a back up band to a very known artists.
Anyway, after an hour from the opening. Santana came out with his hat and his distinctive guitar. His amazing. His getting old now, but his music lives. He really plays so good and his band is so great. Each one of his band members played so well. Of course, you need to be a good talent when you will be working for Carlos. I had a good time with the concert. It is big for me because I like his music so much.

Tiki Lounge
Last night I was missing some music with good food. Just out of luck, hubby saw it online and we just try it out at Tiki lounge in downtown San Jose. We passed by there a couple of times but we never got to stop and check. So last night, we were already starving and we didn’t know any other place to go. We were inside the car and heard the too loud noise. We weren’t sure if it’s going to be okay. But, instead we decided to just go and check it out. We were greeted by a gentleman in the counter, check our ID and self seated. It took time for us to see the menu for the lady said they got lots of missing menu. That’s sound interesting, alarming in our part how unorganized could that be. Then we had it and ordered Kahlui Lumpia. Just 5 minutes it was on the table, looks yummy with the mango relish and coleslaw underneath. It was a good appetizer. The food was served fast and we were happy about it. My Smoke Texas Ribs were good and my husband Smoke Santa Maria tips were good too. We were so happy that we found that place. It is cheaper too with a big serving. I am not so much fan with the music though. It is not the type of music that I don’t like but how the restaurant set up their system that mixed up with the other place where the band is playing. It all mixed up. But if you will go where the band is playing, it’s cool. Small place but it’s fine. In general, it was an okay place to hang out. I will definitely go back there.

The boy with theTalent
I haven't seen American Idol for the past year. I am sure you would ask, What? My husband doesn't like hearing many out of tune people sing live and it pisses off his day or time. I would agree with that in some way but somehow if his not around I will try to look for shows that connects with music and talent. Out of my curiosity at this time, since I don't have any idea who's the line up or the contestants right now aspiring for stardom, I searched at youtube. I came across with this talent, David Archuleta. I agree he will be the next American Idol or if not he will be a star someday. His voice and his charm can capture many fans. I am musically incline person and just hearing him sing is one the best voice talent I've heard when it comes to Men. His still very young and he can still improve more. His gifted and I like him.

Viagogo.co.uk
I am an avid fan of Celine Dion. From the day I heard her sing with that 3 octave high pitch, I begun to love her and ambitiously want to be like her. I had hoped my voice quality could sustain the song but I am not born to be a singer and possessed that talent. There’s no one like her in comparison. Her career peaks at the top when she sang the song My Heart Will Go On at the popular movie Titanic. It was just a beautiful song. My heart melts and my hair stands every time I hear that famous tone. She’d been away from the limelight and stayed in Las Vegas doing some few shows but now she’s back to do more touring. She will have couples of show in England and other parts of Europe such as Ireland, Dublin, Amsterdam, Copenhagen and Sweden this May to September this year at different times. If you are living in England, you can purchase London tickets at Viagogo.co.uk, a leader in ticket hub in Europe. The company matches buyers and sellers of concert tickets, sports tickets, theatre tickets and more. If offers a very reasonable theatre tickets, you will save more money and guaranteed better seats. Don’t miss this special time with Celine. Visit the site and find the theatre tickets London. With just a few click and easy transaction process, you can have your ticket ready in time.

New thing
This is MP3 WMA wireless Fm Modulator. You will just turn your car stereo on and tune the frequency the same as your Car MP3 player. Press the play bottom of the car MP3 player to enjoy music. Isn't that cool? I know you can use Ipod but can you imagine the gigantic difference of this one. It only cost less than $30 with the USB already. I don't know how much you can upload music by the 1G USB but I surely know it play more.
I only knew this when my brothers at home where using this. My younger brother gave this to my hubby so he can play it with his car. Eventually this will be mine. I haven't tested it yet to my car nor hubby but sooner when I can download the songs to the USB definitely I will be the one to test it first.

My new Gadget
When I traveled to Hongkong recently, at Causeway bay while looking for something. I was hitched by a shop and looked around for cellphones. I am too far behind on what's the latest on phones. The US market on phones are not very much on my taste. There is only one that I like and that's the Apple Iphone and for me I don't want to spend much on that alone. I tried not to liking to buy it and never did.
So I came across to see this small very light phone Nokia 5310. It's just like mp3.
Right now, I just opened it up and still looking into it's function. This will be my phone for years eheheh. I am not a gadget freak but once in a while it's good to have the latest thing.

Amazed by a Talented 10-Yr-Old
If you wonder why she is talented, she's very interested to learn all the musical instruments. Right now she's very good at playing the piano and bass guitar. Her parents must be so proud of her. When I was at her age, I just start to learn the piano in basic. The way she plays and the kind of songs she chose from Alicia Keys which is her favorite song artist, she's a gifted child. Take a look at the clip below how she performed 'Fallin'. If I will have kids, I hope they'll be interested in music and talented too.

The passion for music
After days trying to know how to play, I just quit. I gave it up and on the other hand my big brother Aldin suddenly got interested. From then on, he never stopped knowing how to learn it. Days and nights he reads and understands every pieces of it. When he had all the informations he had on how to play with it, he changed to bass guitar where his passions lies on up to the very present day.
Going back to the day I gave up learning the guitar, the keyboard from my Aunt came. My mom decided to have me enrolled to home school for piano lessons. I wasn't to keen or not looking forward to it 3 times a week after school. That time, I would always want to play with my schoolmates. So I felt my childhood past times were deprived because I needed to come home. I got an old teacher but a very nice lady. She'd always gave so much praises for me. I was attentive to for I wanted our lessons to be quick and fast but not knowing it, the more I could do it fast the more lessons I could have. It was tougher day after day. I was given so much exercises that at a very young age, I did able to play less than a year with a song. The repertoire was classical but not as complicated. I was just given pieces that suited to my ability. My parents were proud of me and I could always remember the first song "More". That time, I was complaining because I didn't know it. I always got mad when they want to let me play. I got the hang of it til I forgot it.
In some point, the lessons were cut in short due to finances and burdens as well of getting the time in school as the years gone by. I stopped going to lessons and when I tried to come back, I kept on starting from very basic and the interest that I have when I was a child had gone. I don't feel the music in me but I still am learning to play when I got the chance. There was not a time, I didn't stop knowing to play. Yet, only just very simple pieces. But I came across in time, where I just shut it off.
Today, I am happy that my hubby gave me a present for Christmas which is a Yamaha. I didn't expect he could think back to search my passion. He will always looks something for an element of surprise and this time was a big shot. I cherished this moment and I love him even more.
