2010 Christmas Party

I had a good time with our 2010 christmas party. It was held at a friend's cloubhouse. We arrived late and glad that we were able to make it. I thought we will not going to make it since we were kind of busy. Our weekend these days are just too uptight with our plans. But after all the hectic schedule, we were there to join our friends and everything went well with the party.

The white elephant was cool. I made some funny statement to make it alive. I guess always does have that fun element when I am at a crowd. But it doesn't always happen. I just felt that the party need some spice that time. At least I had made people laugh and others did share some funny comments too. It was fun. The ice breaker of the event.

For my pictorial session, I once again forgot the basic element of photography. Check the ISO and WB and lighting of the place. I just did the WB but didn't register to mind about the ISO. I was using the flash too which created more harsh lights and I had pictures blown out. Too bad because some were really good ones. Anyway, I had photos that are funny and great.

My friend judith was so funny when she was acting like this. She made us all laugh.

2009 Xmas & Birthday Video

Hi all.. Here is the video I just made. It took me a couple of days to finish it. It was kind of difficult. I spent so many hours editing and importing files and videos. It was my very first to import my handycam's footage too. Quite got the excitement when I learned how to do it.

I am not a professional nor have the educational background in creating movies. This is just a new passion I have learned while I stayed here in the US. I might wanna go study Media arts. I want to learn more and create real good ones. As of now this is an amateur output product, using photoshop, adobe premiere, sound effects by free loop and my own's laptop sony vaio content exporter.

Birthday celebration

I am so happy on the event of my birthday. We celebrated it on the night of the 23rd. Most of the people I had expected came to joined us. The party was a blast.

The weekend before the party, me and hubby set up the tent we purchased at the back of our house. We were kind of busy setting it up and trying to plan for decorating it. Until the day of the party, we pulled it together to make it work even to the last minute. But it turned out so well. We were too exhausted doing it but the hard work paid off because it was a great party. Too see the people I invited really enjoyed the food, accommodation and company of the rest of the crowd was enough to pay the effort we exerted.

I really appreciate all the people who came to the party especially that they did bring some food, gifts and great company. I can't really ask for more. I am so blessed to be around with lots of good people. I wanna thank God for the blessings this year. I hope for another good year next year.

3-in-1

The night was so cold yesterday. I arrived with my husband at Suzzy's place past 6:30pm. It got hot with all the girls there. The night was so colorful with the laughter and cheers. These girls were just amazing. It's like you can get no problem hanging out with them. They are the coolest.

The party started with the delicious food cooked by the host and food brought by the guests. It was good. We just begun it with a talk and later Pacquiao's fight with Dela Hoya. The scream and cheers just exploded. I believed our voices can be heard a block away. I wondered what could the neighbors think about us.

We followed by an exchange gifts. Majority all of us participated. Everyone was happy with the gift. I was happy with what I got. It's a little fountain decor and fleece blanket. It perfectly fit me. I love fountain and blanket for the cold. I hate being cold. Anyway, it was a good thing to start an early Christmas spirit.

Last but not the least, the celebrant that was so blooming. An expected mother for the second time opened her gifts with delight. I had captured every moment of her time. I love taking pictures and I like taking it with people that I know and comfortable with. People are just so addicted with camera.

It was a great time to be with friends. I can't wait til another party which I will be hosting. 2 weeks from now hoping it will be a blast.

Got some Surprises

My friends and I gathered on the 23rd to celebrate our good friend Joy's birthday at the same time with mine and for Christmas too. Majority all the invited guests did come. There were lots of foods, drinks, and exchange gifts. Everyone had a good time talking, sharing laughters and cheers, dancing and singing karaoke.
It was indeed very surprising for me to received gifts from friends who are very close to my heart. Two of them gave me pieces of jewelry which is very significant to our friendship and I treasure it. My hubby gave me a cross pendant that was very much the likes of him. Every year he always spend time to look around for something he thinks I dont have and could represent me. He had given me so much things and the last gift was so important because he got the time to find it. He surprised me with a Yamaha keyboard. He knows that I always want to play though I am not very good at it but I just love having it. I cant measure how happy I am to have it and now playing with it.
