My place needs a cleaning

My carpet now looks terrible. It’s really in a bad shape. There were few dark spots from previous occupation and I have not tried cleaning it thoroughly since we moved. It created a bad spot all over the place. How I wish to have a professional cleaning company like Steam Team to have my place cleaned. They are very reliable in that aspect and make the job well done.

Also, my bathroom needs a cleaning too. I started cleaning it a few weeks ago but there were spots that are hard to clean. It needs stronger chemicals and more scrubbing to do. For sure a floor tile cleaning tips Austin is a solution to fix that problem. If you have the same problem like I do, consider this site at http://www.thesteamteam.com for more details about other services they provide.

Having some summer fun with my grandkids

Guest post written by Amelia Cook

It seems like almost everything seems so much sweeter during the summer. I'm not really sure why but it just does. Part of that is definitely the warmer weather, the better mood that it puts you in. But I know that for me, personally, a big part of it is that I get to see my kids and grandkids a whole lot more during the summer. They don't live close to me so it's really just during the holidays and the summer when I get to see them.

You might even say that I live for the summer because of that. I was looking up some fun stuff that we could do because I've exhausted the zoo and other things like that so far this summer. While I was looking online for that, I saw the site http://hearingaids.miracle-ear.com/hearing-locations/michigan/a/ann-arbor/ and after I read through it some I decided to sign up for a hearing aid test.

I got the idea to go out and buy a cheap sprinkler. The kids loved running around underneath it and I even ran under it a few times too!

Brother

I have my new printer at home that I brought last year which is very different from the printer that I have previously. My last printer is from Brother and still working. I just bought a new one since the last time I used it to print, it was very urgent and my brother printer needs some cleaning. It was 2 years ago when I did print some materials. It was the time when we moved to a different location to live. Why I didn't use it now it's because the ink cartridges were stuck. It’s not a problem but just needs cleaning. When I was using it before, it really was a good printer. No problems with printing and faxing. There are other printers similar to it. The time I bought it was a good deal and I got to pay cheaper than it's normal price tag. It’s four in one. It will print, scan, fax, use as a phone unit and also has network connection. Right now, it still in the box but one day when I have plenty of time I will clean it and buy new ink again so I can use it. I won’t let it go since it’s in working condition.

Buying good quality printers like Brothers, you won’t regret it. The lifespan of the usage is long and the printing quality is really good. You will be happy if you purchase it because base on my experience it’s proven that it’s good. I am happy with it and I will keep it.

Wish to be in a house

I grow up to be in an average house living under the roof of my parents. I am proud to be living with them since they are a good provider. Now, living in the states is different. Prices of the house are outrageous so many of the working force are either way living in an apartment, renting duplexes and houses and lucky for the rest who got their own place. It’s purely hard work when you can hit that goal.

The other day, I was browsing my folder in my pc and I saw pictures of our homes here. I wish I could just live one of the homes and just have the other rented. The location at work forced us to change our plans. I hope one day though if it’s possible to get another new place. I want to get the blomus stainless steel mailboxes where our mails would be safe. Not like what we are right now, it’s pretty scary to leave mails behind without checking it every day. I really like the stainless steel mailbox. I feel safe with it.

What I also missed out our place was the fireplace. We have some tools for it and the blomus stainless steel fireplace accessories would be a great addition for it. I am wishing one day I could buy something for the fireplace. Hubby already got some of the stainless steel fireplace accessories and safe keeping it for now. It’s nice if we could add another thing if in the future our luck will be in our hands. I am crossing my fingers.

Our road trip to uncle Vinnies for Christmas

The Author of this post is Velma Baird

There are some things every year that the whole family sort of dreads. Our family has the trip to uncle Vinnies for his special holiday get together and famous egg nog. The party is for adults only that that is for a very good reason. My uncle Vinnie really enjoys his eggnog and with that enjoyment comes him trying to dance with everyone there. This would be an okay event if it were only that simple, unfortunately uncle Vinnie enjoys taking his shirt off and exposing his large belly to all. This year as my husband and I were slowly getting ourselves prepared for the trip to uncle's house, my husband decided that we would buy Vinnie three new shirts for Christmas and insist he wear them all at the same time. Before leaving our house I was in charge of setting the adt security system and grabbing Vinnies three new shirts. The plan for the event is my uncle would eventually get tired of taking his shirt off and we all would be spared the nakedness of uncle Vinnie. Everyone at the party loved the idea and we all vowed to buy him shirts only for years to come. This year our drive home was so much better since we didn't have the aroma of uncle Vinnie on all our clothes.

I'm not the Grinch!

Guest post by Jewel Cole

Instead of a lump of coal for my children, I decided to take them to Disneyland for Christmas! We have been enjoying ourselves very much and cannot seem to tire of the beautiful Southern California sun. Things have not been as good as in the past, considering the economy, but we were able to save our pennies and give the kids the kind of holidays they deserve. My mother in law wanted to come along but I told my wife it would be divorce. She gave way and said that it would only fly if my mother did not join us for New Years. I have no problem with this and am relieved.

Before we left the house we set our home security alarm (Jacksonville home Alarm systems monitoring). We also made sure to cover the faucets and leave the indoor plumbing dripping some water. The kids have loved leaving the house ever since we could not afford to keep the maid. Southern California is not such a bad place once you get used to all of the palm trees and the smell of fart. Perhaps it is my allergic reaction to acid rain but I do think it smells here.

Disneyland has been an absolute blast. The kids have worn themselves out everyday with all of the excitement. Tomorrow we are going to eat at the Hard Rock Cafe.

Cooking makes Easy

If I have to describe my kitchen, the only thing I could say is simplicity. I find it ideal when it’s clean and not much clutter. All my ingredients and utensils are in their respective compartments and if I may recall I had ordered a spice rack 3 years ago to put altogether my spices. Since we’ve moved it’s easy to carry because the size is small and I can put all of the spices that I normally use. Though I wish I could have my very own house I would prefer the wall spice rack. What good about it is it’s already in it’s proper place and you don’t have to worry about moving it anywhere. It’s clean when you have those. I hope one day it could come.

There are other kitchen spice racks to choose from if I were intend to replace what I have. It is just easy these days because there are many companies out there that specializes those. Cooking make fast and easy with the spice racks when it’s accessible and easy to grab. I am crossing my fingers that one day I could finally able to experiment more with cooking and so I can make my own food specialty. I am not too bad in the kitchen but I am learning day by day. I hope and wish that I can make good food.

Lights

Contribution by Kennith Griffin

Decorating the house is something that my entire family does every single year. It's amazing how lovely it is to decorate the house so that is looks gorgeous and bright. In fact, we just recently decorated the tree. My mom says that her least favorite part of decorating is dealing with the lights. And I can't really blame her considering they're usually all tangled and messy all the time when we take them out of the box each season. After we're done decorating the tree, we just sit and relax while watching the lights dance across the branches and ceiling. It's really a gorgeous sight.

After we're done decorating our tree, we make sure to set our home security alarm with HOME SECURITY cellguard and we leave to visit my grandmother's house. We normally go to visit her just to see how she is doing with her own decorating and we usually help her if she needs it. Once done, we all sit down for some nice hot chocolate and talk about old times during the holiday season. This little tradition of visiting each others houses during the Christmas season has become something I look forward to every single year. It's no wonder that I absolutely adore going to my grandmother's house to see the way she decorates her home and the way the lights look on her huge tree.

Visible Signs

I was invited to a Halloween party last October. The host of the party was a new friend of mine and the party was held at her place. I basically rely on GPS when I drive to a new location. I was not familiar to where she lives. Though the GPS helps, I can’t tell and I had the difficult time locating which house number she’s at. When I got to her street and looking for address sign, I wasn’t able to see it. I parked the car hoping to see familiar car and waited until I saw a friend of mine went to the street. I asked her where the house is and my friend was also leaving that very moment. Too bad I didn’t get there early to chat with her.

Anyway, I checked again the house to see if there’s an address plaque somewhere that I can notice but I didn’t see it. My eyes were just so blind at night. It’s hard for me to focus. I wish those address signs are visible at night. For me those are important especially to people who has difficulty during the evening. If I had not seen my friend, I could have waited for several minutes until a familiar face showed up.
